Who runs GoVejle?

GoVejle is a personal project run by andrewlb, a new resident of Vejle. As the data controller, I am responsible for how your personal data is handled.

What data do we collect?

• Newsletter subscriptions: your email address and the timestamp of your consent.
• Event reports: anonymous, no personal data is collected.
• Contact form submissions: your name (optional), email (optional), and message. These are auto-deleted after 30 days whether I read it or not.

Why do we collect it?

Event aggregation operates under legitimate interest -- we gather publicly available event data to help the community. Newsletter subscriptions are based on your explicit consent.

Who processes your data?

GoVejle runs on self-hosted infrastructure. Email delivery for the newsletter is handled by Scaleway. There are no third-party analytics services.

How long do we keep it?

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Contact form: 30 days, then automatically deleted.
• Event data: aggregated from public sources, not personal data.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can also object to processing or restrict how your data is used. To exercise any of these rights, reach out via the contact page.

If you believe your data rights have not been respected, you have the right to file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Cookies and tracking

GoVejle uses no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party scripts. Your browsing is not tracked.
