Wessberg "Sound & Songs" quintet

The trombonist Lis Wessberg values melodies and this time has chosen to play acoustically, so that all instruments come to their full right.

One of the strongest voices in Danish jazz visits JIVE with a new orchestra and a new release in the bag.

The master pianist Steen Rasmussen immerses himself this time 100% in the sound of the flute. It will be exciting to see where it leads him and the orchestra, to play acoustically.

Fredrik Lundin on saxophone, here with the weight placed on SOUNDS; sound and presence and the shared calm in the music.

SOUNDS & SONGS' bassist is Ida Hviid, who will lay an organic carpet under the melodic tones.

Finally, there is Frands Rifbjerg on drums, who in this connection must do without the great roar and instead let his skill as a drummer show more subtly.
