Jens Unmack is bringing his rare solo setup to Vejle, trading Love Shop’s loud energy for an intimate night of just guitar, echo, and storytelling. It’s an indoor show suitable for all ages, but ticket prices aren’t listed yet, so check the venue site and book early to secure a spot. Bring a light jacket for the hall. Following the release of the critically acclaimed Love Shop album "I Love You, Goodbye" and a subsequent tour featuring several sold-out shows, including sold-out performances at both Falkonersalen and Store VEGA in København, Jens Unmack is embarking on one of his rare solo tours.
On touring on his own, Jens Unmack says:
"I really love Love Shop concerts with the noise, gin, pounding sequencers, and flashing lights, but when I first tried playing without a band a few years ago, I realized that format can truly do something different. Alone on stage, completely different things come into focus. The songs open up and have to stand on their own through mood and melody, and their lyrics get the prominent position they deserve. I look forward to hitting the road to experience the country completely on my own, just me, an echo machine, and a guitar."
Jens Unmack released his solo debut "Vejen Hjem Fra Rock N Roll" in 2005 and followed it up with the releases "Aftenland Express" and "Dagene Løber Som Heste".
For the upcoming concerts, songs will be drawn from both those albums and Love Shop's back catalog.
