Summer rhymes with jazz. That's why Jazz6000 is once again inviting you to a sparkling Summer Jazz Festival at Godset. The evening features a cozy communal dinner and two fantastic concerts.
Musically, we kick off with none other than Cæcilie Norby, who with her almost superhumanly beautiful vocals, heartfelt ballads, and groovy soul tracks has set new standards for modern vocal jazz. In 2026, she will release a new album where she reinterprets legendary tracks from her four iconic Blue Note albums, which made her a shining star on the international jazz scene. The four albums – Cæcilie Norby (1995), My Corner of the Sky (1996), Queen of Bad Excuses (2000), and First Conversation (2002) – all received strong reviews both in Denmark and internationally. In the years that followed, Norby toured intensively across Europe, the US, and Japan. Her ability to let freedom-loving jazz go hand in hand with pop music's catchy melodies simply made the whole world fall in love with a Danish jazz singer.
The evening's second concert is an explosive party set featuring RKDIA, whose dynamic cocktail of quirky beats, heavy grooves, strong melodic hooks, and unmatched, playful, and euphoric interplay will undoubtedly turn up the summer heat at Godset. The high-voltage duo, consisting of Morten Schantz and Anton Eger, has toured worldwide. Now it's finally Kolding's turn to be blown away on a lovely summer evening as they ignite the summer party with their hard-pumping electro-fusion.
