Join the second day of the Summer Camp, where kids aged 9-12 can enjoy a 2-hour workshop with Danish author and illustrator Adam O. (creator of 'Den Rustne Verden'). Participants will learn drawing and writing techniques, create their own book covers, and enjoy group activities. Bring a packed lunch, water, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothes. The camp runs from 9 AM to 2:30 PM, costs 20 kr. per day, and requires booking in advance due to limited spots. Note: This event is likely in Danish only.
As part of this year's Summer Camp, we are visited by the well-known illustrator and author Adam O., who is the creator of the fantastic Sci-Fi series Den Rustne Verden, Lulu Lukøje, and Rejsen Til Ur.
Over three days, we will explore his imaginative futuristic universe: On the first day of the Summer Camp, we dive into 'Den Rustne Verden' and experiment with everything from scrap bots to sticky jelly cola and plastic soup. On the second day of the camp, Adam O. himself will be here and will show his best writing and drawing tricks in a 2-hour workshop. And if you love animals, you will look forward to the third day, where we will meet a very special animal that appears in almost all of Adam O's books - a tortoise. The terrarium from Vissenbjerg will stop by and tell about their animals, and they have a tortoise, a gecko, and a snake with them.

The practical Remember to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. (The library serves some fruit and rye bread for morning snack) Remember to bring sunscreen and clothes according to the weather (we will be both indoors and outdoors) The Summer Camp lasts 3 days. You choose yourself whether you want to participate for 1, 2, or all 3 days. It costs 20 kr. per day to participate. There is a limited number of places. The Summer Camp is for children aged 9-12 years (3rd-6th grade).
