Signe Svendsen goes on tour in 2026 with new songs and in the strongest band setup yet. With glowing reviews and a talent for captivating audiences with her deep empathy, powerful voice, and surprising storytelling, Signe Svendsen embarks on a tour with her dream team of musicians. Audiences across the country can look forward to a beautiful mix of familiar songs from her back catalog and brand new material.
Right now, Signe Svendsen is working on a new album titled 'Alt Det Vi Gør For Ikke At Dø' (Everything We Do to Avoid Dying). The new songs stem from an existential reflection on what keeps us alive as human beings. Our relationships, worries, and efforts in an unstable world are given poetic and intimate language in Signe's songs, which capture the immediate and the incomprehensible with a noticeable lightness.
This is the first time in five years that Signe Svendsen is taking a band on stage. The music is delivered by a strong team consisting of guitarist Lars Skjærbæk, Rasmus Valldorf on drums, Kasper Staub (Lowly) on keys, and Marie Hageltorn Christiansen (Katinka Band) on vocals, guitar, and synth.
Signe Svendsen's concerts connect the intimate with the grand in songs about destinies, love, doubt – everything we share and are united by. There will be plenty of opportunity to soar on vast dreamy plains, sit right in your seat for heartbreaking or laugh-inducing stories, and be closely enveloped by her Danish-language sound universe.
The new album will be released in January 2026. Audiences can therefore look forward to concerts featuring strong songs from the back catalog and a first encounter with brand new material. Critics wrote, among other things, about her latest album 'Hvem Vil Ikke Elskes Igen' (2022).
