Shu-bi-dua 2.0

Shu-bi-dua 2.0 is a Danish music tour in 2026 celebrating the band's 70s nostalgia with a focus on their fifth studio album and greatest hits. The concerts will be a nostalgic experience for fans, featuring iconic songs like 'Den røde tråd' and 'Knuden'. The event is aimed at adults and will take place in indoor venues. Note: This event is likely in Danish only.
In the fall of 2026, Shu-bi-dua 2.0 embarks on a longer Danish tour, where the concept is clear and sharply tailored with one goal in mind: to create regular folk festivals throughout the entire country. The concerts will be pure 70s nostalgia, as all the songs from this band's fifth studio album will make up the first part of the evenings, before the grand finale begins with greatest hits from Shu-bi-dua's at least impressive back catalog.
"Our best album, if you ask us": 78'EREN GENOPSTÅR – LIVE! If you ask passionate Shu-bi-dua fans about their favorite album, there will undoubtedly be divided opinions. For many, it's like having to choose between their own children. Are you into the third album with 'Hvalborg'? The fourth with 'Vuffeli-vov'? Or maybe the seventh with 'Midsommersangen'? All are good choices.
Among the orchestra members, there is no hesitation in the choice - the answer comes promptly: 78'eren. "It is our best album, if you ask us," says Shu-bi-dua legend Michael Hardinger.
"78'eren is the album where we really kicked it into high gear," says Michael Hardinger, pointing to three iconic songs that each define the album's greatness in their own way. "'Den røde tråd' is our most well-known song, 'Knuden' is our funniest song, and then there's 'Danmark' which is the country's second best national anthem." "You might not want to sing that 'the warm countries are something lousy' anymore, as you wouldn't want to offend the warm countries, points out Hardinger. "But we do it anyway," comes in a resounding chorus from the orchestra, who - like on the big Shu-bi læums tour in 2023 - are joined by TV doctor and owner of an unofficial doctorate in the Shu-bi-dua universe, Peter Qvortrup Geisling.
"The energy the boys emit when they fire off all their classics cannot be explained from a medically scientific perspective. It has to be experienced. We are so excited to bring together three to four generations under one roof and with you create evenings you'll never forget," says Doctor Geisling.
