Rigmor is a Danish indie rock band consisting of Sarah Wichmann, Oliver Stewart, Victor Sousa, and Lasse Lykke. The band combines poetic lyrics – originally inspired by Michael Strunge – with the feeling of being part of a generation searching for meaning in the meaningless, where melancholy blends with life's euphoria.
At the center is Sarah Wichmann's distinctive and clear voice, which carries the poetic lyrics forward in large spaces and organic soundscapes. The hand-played music creates a sense of unity and contains songs about life's joys and sorrows, about the light and the dark.
Live, Rigmor has marked itself as one of Denmark's strongest new talents on the scene. Since 2020, Rigmor has released critically acclaimed albums and played countless sold-out Danish concerts, where spontaneous group singing has emerged in several places. They have toured throughout the Nordic countries and made a name for themselves abroad with a live session in collaboration with the renowned American radio station KEXP, which has been viewed over 100,000 times.
