Join the Read Hour at Jelling Library's indoor space – great for all ages. Bring a book, read for as long as you like, and enjoy coffee/tea, juice, cookies, and popcorn. Free entry, no booking needed. Note: This event is likely in Danish only.
Bring a book, find a cozy spot, and read as much as you can. You can read for 5 minutes or a whole hour – it's up to you. We'll provide coffee/tea, juice, cookies, and popcorn – and at 5 PM, we'll count up how many pages we've read together. Come and be part of the community! Free admission – just drop by!
Which library will manage to read the most pages in an hour?
In 2025, the Jelling Library read a total of 1464 pages – who can break that record this year?
We're hosting Read Hour at the libraries in Egtved, Give, and Jelling, at Nørremarken, and in the Children's Library at Bryggen.
You are also welcome to participate in Read Hour at the Børkop Library – however, it will be unattended, so you'll need to bring your own reading snacks.
