Dive into Japanese culture when Bygningen invites you to a sensory and creative afternoon with Matcha & Origami.
Here we combine the traditional Japanese craft of origami with the proud Japanese matcha tradition, as you learn to fold classic paper figures and whip up your own iced matcha in a modern interpretation of the iconic drink. Along the way, we delve into the history, traditions and craftsmanship behind both and create a cozy space with room for immersion, curiosity and community.
The event requires no experience or prior knowledge - just a willingness to try something new and experience Japanese culture in good company.
Your instructors are Oliver Mørk, who has extensive experience and passion for origami, and Maria Theresa Olsen who has solid knowledge of the iconic green drink.
