With a sound deeply rooted in the New Orleans tradition, Orgelstars delivers an energetic cocktail of swinging jazz, second line grooves, sweaty funk and soul-dripping spirituals – all served with great playing pleasure and musicality.

Imagine the sound from the swamps of Louisiana. The warm, living pulse from French Quarter. Grease, gumbo and Spanish moss in one and the same breath. This is where Orgelstars draws their inspiration – and it shows. Their music makes you smile, move your feet and perhaps even stay a little longer than you had planned.

With Martin Schack on organ, Stefan Ringive on tuba, Jesper Riis on trumpet, Jakob Pedersen on guitar and vocals and Søren Pedersen behind the drums, the band creates a both raw and refined sound, where each member brings their own distinctive and musicality into the collective groove.

Orgelstars is not just a band – it is a mood, a party and a musical journey directly down to New Orleans.

With a valid companion card, it is possible to get a free companion ticket to most concerts in Bygningen.

Tickets to Bygningen's concerts are sold in advance here.

If the concerts are not sold out in advance, tickets are also sold at the door.

A number of the concerts in Bygningen are arranged by different music associations and self-organizers – including Bluesforeningen Crossroads, JIVE Jazz and Vejle Jazzklub.
