As tradition dictates, Jazz6000 is hosting an after-party following the Christmas concert with the DR Big Band. This year, we have an intimate concert featuring the Michael Olsen Quartet, who will effortlessly bring us a delightful selection of swinging musical Christmas gifts – perhaps even spiced with a Christmas carol or two.
Afterwards, there will be a Christmas jam session, and it's not out of the question that musicians from the DR Big Band might join in. And perhaps Jazz6000 has a little extra Christmas surprise in store…

Get what you wish for. This year, your wish list should definitely include this fantastic Christmas concert with the DR Big Band, featuring the Danish crooner Mads Mathias, who will blend voices and Christmas cheer with the English jazz diva Emma Smith, who has collaborated with major names like Michael Bublé and The Quincy Jones Orchestra.
The Christmas concert will delight us with one jazzed-up Christmas classic after another, wrapped in heartfelt soul and grand swing. This is undoubtedly the safest bet for the Christmas gift of the year!
