Out of deep love for Johnny Madsen’s musical and lyrical universe, his son Rasmus Madsen takes the stage alongside some of the most respected musicians in Danish rock – following his father’s wishes, at the mercy of the audience, and fueled by the band’s undivided enthusiasm!! Sold-out concerts, extraordinary reviews, and Thyborøn rock for the Danish audience. MADSEN has cemented its place, and the support has been enormous and deeply moving. So far, it has amounted to 17 indoor shows – all sold out. Now, 50 festivals await in the summer of '26, and a series of reviews have repeatedly and firmly elevated MADSEN to the highest echelons of Danish rock music.
In the spring of 2027, MADSEN will play 20 concerts in larger concert halls. This time, a choir will be a permanent fixture. Ekstrabladet’s Thomas Treo has given MADSEN five stars. Twice. And his newspaper placed MADSEN on the list of the five best concert experiences of 2025. Twice. Berlingske’s reviewer attended the concert at Det Kongelige Teater and awarded six stars. He did so with the words: “By far the best concert of the year.”
