Kōya and Persecutor hit the stage for an explosive double concert. Kōya delivers an intense, dark and atmospheric storm of post-hardcore, sludge and blackened soundscapes, while Persecutor brings a pure thrash-attack with lightning-fast riffs, hard-hitting grooves and catchy choruses that hit like a fist to the gut. Expect sweat, noise and pure energy from the first to the last drumbeat.

KŌYAAalborgeniske Kōya has stormed onto the Danish metal scene and quickly marked themselves with energetic live shows and a no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners attitude. This is clearly underlined by the band's early presence on stages and events such as the national Mono Goes Metal, When Copenhell Freezes Over, Copenhell, Summer Breeze (DE) and more.

Kōya takes its starting point in modern post-hardcore and sludge's crushing weight, combined with atmospheric elements from black metal and shoegaze. The result is a captivating, dynamic and intense sound picture that constantly balances between the controlled and the chaotic, the stoic and the feral, in a tension field where aggression and reflection collide.

The upcoming album Pendula (summer 2026) marks a further sharpening of the expression. The tempo is higher, the aggression more focused and the songwriting tighter, without sacrificing the atmospheric depth that characterizes the band's sound.

Central is the theme of inner duality and the realization that control is often just an illusion. Kōya captures a pronounced Scandinavian darkness, an inherent feeling of darkness, like late autumn. On stage, it is conveyed with raised fists, physical confrontation, genuine north Jutland charm and a glint in the eye. There is no safe place in front of a Kōya stage.

PERSECUTORThe Danish thrash metal suppliers PERSECUTOR have cemented their place as one of the most energetic and uncompromising names on the modern metal scene. With their aggressive and catchy music, raging fun live shows and visually powerful appearance, the band is an explosive acquaintance - both on record and on stage.

Persecutor's second album "Vendetta" (2023) brought the band to an opening concert at Copenhell, followed by a European tour as support for legendary Illdisposed, numerous shows in Norway, Sweden, France and Germany, as well as a nomination for "Album of the Year" at the award show "Den Hårde Tone".

Persecutor has firmly established itself on the country's metal radar and is now aiming to make waves in the rest of Europe. Most recently, the band has played the prominent showcase Eurosonic in Holland and The Alternative Escape/The Great Escape in Brighton, UK.
