With his award-winning novels, Knud Romer has made his mark in Danish literature with existential depth and linguistic musicality. He has collaborated with names such as Peter Sommer, Andreas Odbjerg, and Den Danske Strygerkvartet, and in 2024 he was awarded the Knight's Cross for his contributions to Danish art and culture.
For over two decades, Mikael K has toured with his songs – both solo and with the band Klondyke – and writes about the life we rarely sing about: laundromats, IKEA arguments, and worn-out marriages. With seven critically acclaimed albums and awards such as P4-prisen, DMA Folk, and Carl Scharnberg-prisen, he has established himself as one of Denmark’s sharpest songwriters.
