Hanne Boel

Hanne Boel is working on songs for a brand new album. Before the release, she will take the new songs and her band on a tour to 14 venues and concert halls across the country in November 2026.

Hanne Boel is in the middle of a creative period where new ideas and musical experiments flow freely. She is currently working on new material for an upcoming album, and in the autumn of 2026 the audience will have a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the process. On an extensive tour of Denmark, she and her band will visit 15 Danish venues and music halls, including DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen and Musikhuset in Aarhus.

For the first time in several years, Hanne Boel is using the well-tried method: Letting the songs meet the audience before they make their way to the studio. The new songs will therefore be introduced to the live audience first, where moods and reactions can be decisive for which songs end up on her next album.

At the tour, concertgoers can look forward to a strong mix of brand new material combined with the iconic songs that have made Hanne Boel one of Denmark's most beloved musical names over the decades. Together with her band, she is always curious and innovative, even when it comes to her older repertoire. With respect for the originals, but also with the courage to give the music new life when it feels right, Hanne Boel explains:

"I sense that together with my current band I am finding myself in the present. We are curious, playful, music-loving and wild about a good groove that hits the body at least as much as the heart and mind. We are curious about the present and at the same time we are excited about the old virtues from the 80s and 90s."
