FILMAFTEN is scruffy 00's rock on Danish. Pop music with power chords and a guitar solo for your cornflakes. Love songs on real instruments and unpolished wildness in radio length. The music plays on the great rock constellations from the turn of the millennium (Oasis, Foo Fighters, Weezer...) and dances finely on the thin line between originality and nostalgia. FILMAFTEN is Laurits Emanuel (Fyr Og Flamme), Daniel Kardyb, Andreas Brinck and Kalle Brinck (Bli Glad). The band members have played together in various constellations for almost two years. In 2024, they entertained at a city festival, where Laurits Emanuel, during a break, declared that he would write them an original repertoire from the heart - if the others only promised to play them just as well as when they set Kim Larsen on fire.
