Emma Rawicz has rapidly made a name for herself on the international jazz scene. In 2026, she was named “UK Jazz Artist of the Year” in England. This hard-driving jazz musician is simply a sparkling jazz diamond. With her British superquintet INKYRA, she creates groovy, genre-defying music inspired by Joni Mitchell, the wild, rock-inspired fusion jazz of the 60s, and smooth Latin jazz. It’s high-energy yet harmonious hyperjazz that moves – and you!
In addition to the concert with Emma Rawicz, you can look forward to a performance by our very own Nikolaj Bangsgaard and his international trio. The rising drummer and former Jazz6000 volunteer returns to Godset after many years of music studies in New York to celebrate the release of Time Happens with us all. He brings two of the most interesting musicians on the New York jazz scene: saxophonist David Truilo and bassist Jasper Grigsby-Schulte. Come and help celebrate jazz’s rising lions!
