After a magical evening at K.B. Hallen last year, Carpark North is returning in 2026 – with one exclusive Danish tour across 14 performance venues. These will be the band's only Danish concerts next year.
Since their breakthrough with “Transparent & Glasslike” in 2003, the trio – Lau Højen, Søren Balsner and Morten Thorhauge – has left an indelible mark on Danish rock with songs like “Human,” “32” and “Shall We Be Grateful.” Known for their powerful sound and visual live productions, Carpark North always delivers concerts with intense energy and a sense of community.
The 2025 concert at K.B. Hallen was a career highlight, where the band reunited with fans in an euphoric celebration of 25 years of music. Now the party continues across the country: from Aalborg to Copenhagen, from iconic venues to intimate rooms.
Carpark North is a band. An electrorock band that has always released albums. 'AIR – Part I' was released at the beginning of 2024 with the lead single 'If I Were Your King,' which immediately entered the Top 10 on the airplay chart, once again proving Carpark North as the hitmakers they have been in the Danish music landscape for the past 20 years. 'AIR – Part I' was a deep inward look at poetry. In the band's own stories about divorce, death, love and longing. 'Part II' is the band's musical explosion, where they break the boundaries of what people perceive them as. It's about deep rave, horror, sex, soul, silence and otherworldly big songs.
With the release of Part I and II, and thus the double album 'AIR,' Carpark North completes the circle for their creative process over the past three years. But also invites the listener into their life during those years. Because this double album is certainly the most personal one the band has released to date. All songs are written from personal experiences. And since life moves in all directions, this double album certainly does too. 'AIR' is Carpark North's most creative and exciting release to date.
The 2026 concerts will therefore be a culmination of songs from the new 'AIR,' but also the huge hits from throughout their career.
Suitable for: teens, adults
