Godset, Anlæg14, and MGK Syd invite musicians, singers, bands, and artists in the Triangle Area and Southern Denmark to a Career Day. This event is for anyone considering or pursuing a career as a musician or artist in the music industry.

This Career Day will focus on all the aspects of the music industry beyond just the music itself, which are essential for anyone looking to improve their chances of success. We will present tools for developing strategy, career planning, and booking, and offer the opportunity to update your artist or band photos.

Today, music is not just about great songs and innovative production techniques. It's also about selling a vibe, a culture, and a community associated with the music. Get practical tips on how you, as an artist, can start thinking about and working with your visual identity to make your overall product even more clear and appealing to the right audience.

Talk and get tips, and ask questions about the booking process with Kirstine Uhrbrand from Tøjhuset and Katrine Friis Sønderby from Spot Festival.

Kirstine Uhrbrand: Venue manager and booker for Tøjhuset and Eksercerhuset, which are Fredericia's cozy, festive, and atmospheric live music venues. Previously director of Tønder Festival and event designer for the Climate Folk Meeting.

Katrine Friis Sønderby: Booker and responsible for musical partnerships at SPOT Festival. She previously ran her own management agency and has toured the country as a tour manager and merchandise coordinator for several prominent Danish artists.

Have a brief conversation with bookers from venues in the Triangle Area: Kirstine Uhrbrandt (Tøjhuset, Fredericia), Cille Bach Juhl Mathiassen (Værket, Vejle), Morten Østlund (Posten and Dexter, Odense), Sune Rasmussen (Tobakken), and Jacob Holst (Godset, Kolding). Please note that separate registration is required for the Booker Speed Dating session during the registration process.

Get off to a good start and achieve your goals with a solid plan for your release. Many bands and artists dream of releasing their music. However, how do you avoid wasting time and money if your songs don't stream as much as you hoped on Spotify? It's all about having a plan, having an idea of what you want to achieve, and having good ideas on how you can market yourself and tell the world about your release.

Johannes Dybkjær has over 20 years of experience as a consultant for young bands and artists. Through his work with the career cannon, he has worked with names like Mø, Minds Of 99, Benjamin Hav, Pil, Fallulah, and Patina. Today, he runs his own company, &Amplify, which helps and advises young musicians.

Talk with Simone Tang, August Campeotto, Johannes Smed, and Kasper Buch. Planning, networking, calendar management, booking, being a solo artist or part of a band, musician or project creator. A discussion about the many practical choices and tasks that professional performing musicians face, with time for questions from the participants.

August Campeotto: Guitarist (Rosa, Danser med Drenge, Tim Schou, Søren Torpegaard Lund, Luca Stereo), external instructor at MGK Copenhagen, and graduate of the South Danish Music Conservatory.

Simone Tang: Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Simone Tang emerged as a solo artist with the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, Things I Remember, which was released in 2024. Last year, Simone toured Denmark and abroad with over 50 concerts, including festivals such as Tinderbox (DK), SXSW (US), Trondheim Calling (NO), and Folk Alliance (US).

Johannes Smed: Musician, composer, and instructor. He graduated from the Jutland Music Conservatory and continued his studies in electronic composition at DIEM. He works with music for theater, performing arts, and art projects and has collaborated with a wide range of Danish theaters and cultural institutions. He teaches electronic music, songwriting, and sound art at the South Danish Music Conservatory and MGK Syd.

Kasper Buch: Singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Tønder, 35 years old, released three albums, and works in a warehouse job alongside his music. He has been making a name for himself on the Danish music scene for the past 8 years. He is also an ambassador for the anxiety and stress association, where his music contributes to the debate about mental health. He received various grants for his musical work and was nominated for the JydskeVestkysten Culture Prize in 2025.
