Black Oak County celebrates 10 years with a large tour at selected venues across the country. Look forward to a hard-hitting and explosive concert experience with the best from the band's back catalog as well as completely new material, as the band releases a new album in 2026.

The award-winning quartet entered the Danish hard rock scene in 2016 with their tonally heavy and uncompromising heavy rock, which over the years has led to both awards and top placements on various charts. From the Spotify hit If You Only Knew and the aggressive Mad Dog from the debut album to Save Your Breath and Boom Boom Baby from the band's latest album III, both won the title of Best Single at Den Hårde Tone and Danish Alternative Music Awards in 2025.

In just 10 years, Black Oak County has released 3 studio albums, achieved massive streaming and international airplay around the world, and in addition have played countless concerts in Scandinavia, Europe and the UK. They have also been support for big names such as The Dead Daisies, Till Lindemann (Rammstein), D-A-D and many more.

The band's inspiration comes from both old rock icons like Black Sabbath and Lynyrd Skynyrd to modern heavy metal like Alter Bridge, which has led to a powerful but catchy sound, filled with heavy riffs, guitar licks as well as melodic and catchy choruses. A sound created for the stage, which is why Black Oak County looks forward to hitting the road on their 10 YEARS AROUND THE SUN tour.

Mikkel Lyn is the instrumental solo project from Mikkel Lyneborg, a 23-year-old guitarist, producer and mixer from Copenhagen. The music is centered around strong riffs and memorable melodies, the sound is big, stadium anthem and raw, but at the same time melodic and nuanced. After moving from Odense to Copenhagen at the age of 21 to pursue music, Mikkel came under the wing of Søren Andersen at Medley Studios - a turning point that sharpened his craft as both a musician and producer.

As founder of the hard rock band Alone In Rome he lit his creative fire, and the debut single Don't Wait For Me was produced, mixed and mastered by Mikkel himself in Medley Studios and received praise from industry big names, including Chris Baseford (Nickelback, Daughtry, Shinedown). In 2024 Mikkel became the first Scandinavian EVH-artist, an acknowledgment of his technical level and tone. Live he draws on classic rock spirit with inspirations from Joe Satriani, Andy Timmons, Mammoth and Slash, where the concerts combine virtuosity with audience-friendly hooks.

Mikkel is now working on his first instrumental album, planned for spring 2026. Now is the time to take a peek behind the Pro Tools-sessions and a first meeting with a project that promises both big sound and uncompromising guitar music.

With a valid companion card, it is possible to get a free companion ticket to most concerts at Bygningen.

If the concerts are not sold out in advance, tickets are also sold at the door.

A number of the concerts at Bygningen are arranged by different music associations and self-organizers - including Bluesforeningen Crossroads, JIVE Jazz and Vejle Jazzklub.
