You can experience him completely alone on stage at Godset. Just him and our new grand piano. The perfect duo, one might be tempted to say.
In 2022, Bill Laurance released his first solo album, Affinity, which cemented his status as a truly exceptional artist. His second album followed at the end of 2025. It is no less outstanding. With the album Lumen, he has simply seen the light. And when he sits there on stage, you can feel him. You breathe along with him – and find an almost blissful calm in his music, where, with unmatched dexterity and musical sensitivity, he alternates between the classical and the highly improvised. With Bill Laurance, the world has gained a dazzling jazz star who plays all the major venues. It’s a miracle that he will also shine his light on Kolding!
