Kim Blæsbjerg is coming to Vejle to chat about his new novel 'De største løfter,' a 1979-set sequel following the families from his first book in Lemvig. Kim Blæsbjerg's novel 'De største løfter' (The Greatest Promises) is a direct sequel to 'De bedste familier' (The Best Families). The story once again takes place in Lemvig, where the year is now 1979. When a new high school opens in the town, a group of young teachers move to West Jutland with dreams of education and change. Simultaneously, we follow the two families that we got to know in the first book, and their lives working at Cheminova, dealing with complicated relationships, and facing promises from the past.
At this event, Kim Blæsbjerg will talk about his work on the new novel, the West Jutland setting, and his writing career.
