Songs For Life have been written through a whole life. Inspired by travels, life phases, loss, hope and human relationships. The songs revolve around what we all share – love, longing, fragility and an awareness that life is constantly changing.

The four-part work has been on three spring tours and now the songs are gathered once again, this time on an autumn tour. So when Anne Linnet in autumn 2026 sings songs from 'Songs For Life' on a nationwide tour, it is a circle that is closed.

• 'Songs For Life arose because life insisted on it,' Anne Linnet says about the four-part album she released in 2023. 'There are in total 50 songs, so if I were to sing them all at one and the same concert, it would of course become a marathon performance. So the song list has varied from tour to tour and also this fourth time, the songs from the great work will be combined with some of the songs the audience already knows and which I know people love.'

The concerts are played with Anne Linnet's Quartet, which in addition to her consists of: Julie Lindell, Markus Lindell and Kasper Falkenberg. The quartet moves from the country's largest concert halls to smaller, intimate performance venues. It will be a concert experience where the songs are in the center – close, thoughtful and with space for both silence, togetherness and recognition.

• 'Each song has its own voice, just like a person, and the songs live on where they find resonance and are recognized as thoughts and feelings you might have thought were asleep, but which are now awakened and relived in a shared space.
